Argitron started as a tool we wanted for ourselves. We were running an ISMS on a Confluence page, an AI inventory in a spreadsheet, an ITIL-shaped service desk in Jira, and a portfolio in a Notion database. Every audit was a screenshot scavenger hunt. Every framework added another folder.

We got tired and built the thing properly. One data model: people, services, controls, risks, projects, changes, evidence. Everything else is a view.

We believe a few unfashionable things:

• Self-hosted is a feature, not a regression. Your data stays in your VPC.
• Published prices are a competitive moat. Hiding pricing is hiding from buyers.
• Per-employee pricing for security tooling is intellectually indefensible.
• Boring software outperforms exciting software for compliance work.
• Honest scope notes ("this pillar is young") build trust faster than perfect-looking marketing.

Argitron is built by Deklarative — the same team behind the Argitron Studio low-code platform, the GenuStream messaging fabric, and a small portfolio of related, auditable infrastructure tools.
